20 Years of Recognition

Sri Annapurna – The Goddess of Food. As per mythology, nobody sleeps hungry in the city of Varanasi because of her blessings.

Taking her blessings and moving ahead, Sri Annapurna was established in the year 2000 with an idea to provide the residents and guests of Varanasi a quality South-Indian meal in an upscale and hygienic environment. The modest journey was started by its founder, Mr. Ravi Shankar Jhunjhunwala who stuck with just three things – Quality, Consistency & Hygiene. He soon started getting the love of his guests not only from Varanasi but also from the tourists visiting Varanasi from across the world.

The journey that began with a small 800 square feet South-Indian restaurant with just 2 chefs and 4-floor staff, is now 200+ employees strong. Sri Annapurna kept evolving itself and branching out to different verticals of hospitality with the passing time.
